Arcola UMC
Worship is one of our primary functions as a congregation. At Arcola UMC we come together on a weekly basis to praise Jesus Christ, to seek God's leading, to experience the presence of God's Holy Spirit in our midst, and to encourage each other as we worship as a Christian community.
Our traditional worship service is a meaningful worship experience that uses the sacred music of the United Methodist Hymnal, organ and piano music, elements of traditional liturgy, a robed traditional choir, and meaningful sermons designed to connect Scripture and the teachings of Jesus Christ to our lives. On the 3rd Sunday of each month during the school year, the Junior Choir (grades 2-8) sings in place of the adult choir.

Connect Worship happens at 11 a.m. and features contemporary worship music led by our praise band (Praise Band 101), as well as creative visual media to help bring Scripture and the sermon to life. Much of the content of the sermon is that same as the traditional service, but the rest of the service is in a much more modern style.
